HVG MARINE MOORING EQUIPMENT 0323: The pear lugless endshackle embodies all of the advantages and strength of a joining shackle and is designed to fit the common link of the chain directly to the crown shackle of the anchor. It consists of a ‘C’ –link with two mating caps, which are possively locked by a stainless steel tapered pin and lead plug. The Pear shackle is also the ideal spare shackle, because it replaces the Kenter joining shackle, 3-link adaptor and the D-anchor shackle.
