Tubular turbine (also called through flow turbine or Straflo hydroturbine) is the best selection for developing water power station with extremely low head and extremely large flow rate. It has good characteristics such as less excavated volume, large discharge, high flow speed and high efficiency, etc. It can be mainly divided into light bulb type, shaft-well type, siphon type and axial-extension type. At present, tubular turbines made by HVG Marine are suitable for hydropower stations covering a water head from 2 to 25m, capacity from 160kw to 32mw and runner diameter from 0.6 to 7m. Non-normative or bigger turbine with different runner diameter can be provided according to your requirements.
