HVG MARINE STEEL 0065: Marine Bulb Flats

Bulb flats is a kind of steel sections with an optimum weight ratio. They are used in shipbuilding as plate stiffeners in different fields of application. Their shape guarantees many advantages compared with other reinforcement solutions: first, bulb flats are the most economical reinforcement for plates; second, they have obvious advantages in strength to weight ratio than other possible reinforcement; their shape reduce welding to minimum during installation… The marine bulb flats are made of marine steel certified by leading classification societies, such as CCS, ABS, BV, LR, GL… The available steel grades are grade A, B, D, E, AH32, DH32, EH32, AH36, DH36, EH36, AH40, DH40, EH40. They are produced by top steel mills which have mature technology, strict quality management and rich production experience. The bulb flats meet requirements of GB/T 9945-2012 or EN 10067.
