    HVG OFFSHORE EQUIPMENT 0134: Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Buoy

    Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene buoy is new generation of navigational aids buoy. Its molecular weight is more than 2 millions, making it be able to work under the temperature -70℃ to 80℃.

    Features of UHMWPE Buoy

    1. High Environmental Protection: Self-colored material, chemical stablility, no pollution to the environment

    2. Maintenance Free: no painting within 10 years; self-lubricated floating body and tail pipe; anti-rust balance iron

    3. Anti-impact Ability:

    • A. high elasticity and hardness;
    • B. light weight, small inertia;
    • C. flexible and tensile strength;
    • D. Filled polyurethane foam with filling density ≥36kg/m³, avoiding water leakage
    • E. Lamp bracket is made of composite materials, improving the safety, anti-impact ability and service life
    • F. All connecting parts are connected with the 316L stainless steel bolts that specialized for seawater
    • G. Light retainer has strong anti-impact and anti-deformation resistance, strengthening the protection to the lamp and solar panels

    4. Long Service Life

    • A. High anti-corrosion resistance and UV irradiation resistance, chemical stability;
    • B. Lamp bracket is anti-rust, service life reaching more than 20 years
    • C. Special structure of the cable lug makes each lug’s limit load reach 60tons
