HVG MARINE AIRBAG 0012: Inflatable High Pressure Pipeline Plugging Rubber Airbags
- Plugging rubber airbag is a rubber airbag used for plugging a pipeline to block the water,sewer or oil from flowing and leaking. It is a common blocking tool for municipal construction, water pipeline, petroleum pipeline, sewer pipeline and underwater pipeline engineering. Plugging or blocking pipeline airbag is widely applied to pipeline sealing, leaking check, pipeline repair and maintenance. The pipeline plugging or blocking airbags are made of layers of rubber with cord reinforcement. Stronger than PVC airbags, rubber airbags can endure high pressure and can be used repeatedly for many times.
- Pipeline plugging airbag can be made to be with cone heads as well with arch ends. The use time can reach up to 1000 hours or longer without more inflation.
- Pipeline plugging or blocking airbag can be used to plug or block or seal round pipelines as well as square pipelines.
- The blocking airbag can be customized to be different sizes, different working pressure and different use time according to the pipeline’s diameter and engineering requirement.

High Strength Flexible Materials:
- Plugs are generally made with Nylon reinforced Nitrile outer ply and have connections for water or air inflation. Many other materials available.
Multi-Size Applications:
- Plugs may be used in any pipeline larger than the deflated diameter. Some seepage in smaller size pipelines may require a specific size vapor sleeve especially when pressure testing.
- Most Sizes Available: Standard sizes are generally in stock up to a 48” diameter with larger sizes available in just a few days.
Light Weight:
- Allows one person insertion for most sizes and applications.
Higher Head Pressure:
- All inflation pressure is applied to the inside wall of the pipe through the plug. Rubber plugs require much of the inflation pressure just to expand the plug.
- Flexibility Deflated plug easily navigates bends and small openings.
