Emergency escape breathing device is self-contained compressed air breathing protective device. It provides instant emergency respiratory protection to help the users escape from the confined spaces,or toxic,hazardous places. EEBD is used for emergency escape only not used for firefighting or entering into the hypoxia cabin or worn by firefighters to work. It complies with the standard SOLAS Chapter II – 2 and MSC/Circ.849 & designed to meet ΕΝ1146:2005 & ISO 23291-1(2008). It gets the approval of CCS. EEBD helps the users get 5-30 minutes more to escape from the dangerous circumstance. It is a necessity for the marine vessels to bring on board.
