What Is It?
A combustible gas is any gas that will burn.Mixtures of combustible gases with air when ingited, produce an explosion. For the vessels. fire fighting is the most important thing to do. Using a marine combustible gas detector to insure that the percentage of gas in the air never get the high enough for the mixture to burn so that protect the life and property from fire. When gas is sensed, try to replace the gas /air mixture with fresh air.If this cannot be complished, then shut down all equipment and evacuate all personal from the area.
