HVG MARINE MOORING EQUIPMENT 0006: Marine Shark Jaw

Marine shark jaws have two common types: fork type shark jaw and triplex shark jaw. Shark jaw device is composed of shark jaws welded on stern deck, towing pins, stern roll, hydraulic pump unit, electronic control system. The main function of shark jaws is to clamp the anchor chains or steel wire and avoid the sliding.

Features of Marine Shark Jaws

1. Driven by hydraulic cylinders;
2. Controlled by remote control panel;
3. Replaceable jaws for different sizes of chains;
4. Retractable shark jaws flush with the deck when not in operation;
5. Quick release system;
6. Applicable to the anchor handling operations of tugh, anchor-handling and supply vessels;
7. Watertight cover to avoid the water leakage to the cabin
8. Available accessories: towing pins, remote control panel, hydraulic pump station
