Mooring chains are used for marine structure, drilling ships, FPSO and other marine equipment and facilities. They are classified into two types: stud and studless chains. Due to the mooring chains have to be long-term immersed in the seawater, the mooring chains have the features of high strength, good toughness, seawater corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, wear resistance and other properties.
