Pelton turbine (also called impulse turbine or action turbine) is the best model for developing high water head with little flow water power resource. It has good characteristics like less investment, high efficiency, small size and compact structure. Pelton turbine units made by HVG Marine are sutable for 80-1000mwater head with runner diameter 0.6-1.8mand capacity 100-18000KW. Both vertical and horizontal types can be provided, with single nozzle, twin or multi- nozzles.
